Gallery: The Final Checkered Flag at the Classic 12 Hours of Sebring
The Sebring Classic 12 Hours Pistons and Props presented by Alan Jay Automotive is run in segments. Each of the four groups race in four 42-minute sessions with the group winner decided on the aggregate of the four sessions.
In Group D Rich Thomas parlayed three wins with his Radical SR3/RSX into dominate victory over the Porsche 997 of Mac McGehee and Cory Friedman. Cody and Bruce Ellsworth in the 2012 Porsche 997 rounded out the podium. Thomas claimed the victory by one minute and 50 seconds with his machine powered by 1500cc motorcycle engine.
