After a five-month journey round the world covering over 27,000 miles, the ’Silver Spitfire’ - a Mk.IX built in 1943 with an extensive World War II history - landed back at Goodwood to complete a historic circumnavigation. Matt Jones and Steve Brookes were the pilots for the flight, which left Goodwood on August 5th and returned to a welcoming party at the former wartime airfield that including members of our team.
