The mighty Saleen S7R GT1 (chassis 029R) of Florent Moulin made its first outing in five months at the Monza Classic after an in-house nut and bolt restoration by Iconic Racing / Art & Revs, and the car was immediately on the pace, taking GT1 class pole and finishing second overall in the Endurance Racing Legends race.
Chassis 029R raced in the ALMS in 2004 and 2005 ALMS, and also in the 2009 FIA-GT series. The car wass the first 'Evo' S7R built built in California by Steve Saleen and one of the two ( along with with chassis 031R ) fitted with a Panoz / Elan seven litre engine.
