The Historic Sports Car Club is pleased to confirm that Andy Dee-Crowne has been appointed to the Motorsport UK Historic Committee. Dee-Crowne took over the role of HSCC Chief Executive Officer in January and has extensive experience of the sport as a competitor, a senior race official and licensed Clerk of the Course.
As well as being a member of the Historic Committee, Dee-Crowne will also represent the Historic Committee on the Motorsport UK Race Committee.
“I’m very proud to be appointed to the Historic Committee,” he said. “I will also be representing the historic fraternity on the Race Committee and I hope I can work for the general good of the sport and historic racers in particular.”
A well as his work as a race official, Dee-Crowne has raced extensively in Jaguars, sports-racing Lolas and Chevrolet Corvettes. He has raced at Le Mans in the Le Mans Classic and competed on race and rally tours like Tour Britannia.
