By Marcus Pye
Iconic 1000cc Formula Three 'screamers' from the 1964-'70 era come out to play in qualifying for the latest round of the Historic F3 Championship at the glorious Anglesey Circuit/Trac Môn in North Wales on July 13. Reigning double champion Jon Milicevic (ex-Mike Keens Brabham BT21B), Andrew Tart (ex-John Fenning Merlyn Mk9), the following day's double race winner Simon Armer (ex-Tom Walkinshaw/Petonyer Aviation March 703-2) and welcome Swedish visitor Leif Bosson (ex-Sten Gunnarsson/Gullringshus Brabham BT28-37) are the first four on track. The blue 'interloper' heading the second line, incidentally, is the invited 1-litre Cosworth SCA-engined F2 Lola T60 of former Midlands Racing Partnership 'gofor' Roger Fowler.
