This Weekend: Jarama, Dolgellau and Brooklands!
Where would we like to be this weekend? There are a few different options depending on geography and wilingness to travel!
If you just happen to be in Spain then the Jarama Classic looks enticing. European historic giants Peter Auto open their 2017 circuit season with 12-races over the weekend for some enticing categories such as Group C, the two Classic Endurance Racing grids and the conniving BMW versus Ford battles of the Heritage Touring Car Cup. Closer to home, and slightly more likely to get you muddy, the second round of the 2017 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship sees the contenders taking on Rally North Wales on Saturday (April 1st). There are 45-miles of stage action with the first car will leave the start line on Saturday morning after 09:00 hours from Gwyndaf Evans Motors in Dolgellau with the rest of the crews flagged away at minute intervals. On a gentler note there is Brooklands MG Era on Sunday, Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the MGC with a special display in the Paddock and the 70th anniversary of the MG Y-Type, the event features action on the Test Hill amomgst other delights, and any visit to the classic Surrey circuit is always rewarded!
