Ferrer Succumbs to Injuries after Zandvoort Crash

We are deeply saddened to day to hear that FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship competitor David Ferrer has succumbed to the injuries he sustained during Saturday’s race at Zandvoort.
The race stopping incident happened at the quick Arie Luyendijk corner and the March 701 driver was taken to a specialist unit in Amsterdam from the circuit. The FIA have sadly today updated their statement on the incident to confirm the Frenchman had passed away.
Our thoughts are with the friends and family of David Ferrer.
