So, where would we like to be this weekend. In the UK the weekend offers two rally options, the latest rounds of the British Historic Rally Championship takes on the Severn Valley Stages on Saturday (June 3rd) while the next day it is the R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship runners who blast into Epynt for their event. IN the US the SVRA have the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival in California, while the HSR are at Virginia International raceway for their meeting.

The Severn Valley Stages is based at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells with the first car will starting at 8.30am on Saturday and returning to the finish at around 4pm. Nick Elliott and Dave Price have won the first three rounds in their Escort, but the rest of the filed will be eager to stop their success, see our event preview:

On Sunday the Fuchs Lubricants R.A.C. Historic Asphalt Rally Championship runners head off for their event, the Welsh Marches Mini Epynt Stages, which features ten tarmac stages. Event preview:

The SVRA’s visit to Sonoma sees a big field with over 400 drivers expected at the Californian circuit. It is busy weekend of the 13-categories racing, and should be a great weekend - preview:

The HSR’s VIR Historic Races features 16-races over the two days, with the regular historic runners being joined by series run by NARRA. More information:

If Touring Cars are your thing then the Super Touring Car Festival at Knockhill in the hills north of Edinburgh could also be worth a visit!
