In addition to all the on-track action and off-track attractions, the 2020 Donington Historic Festival (1st – 3rd May ) now has a new and exciting feature; Silverstone Auctions will be holding two sales at Donington Park over the Festival weekend.
On Friday 1st May at 2.30pm, Silverstone Auctions will hold a dedicated Porsche sale, in association with Porsche Club GB - who will also have a huge presence in the club displays in the infield during the three-day historic motorsport event. And, on Saturday 2nd May at 2pm, Silverstone Auctions will hold a multi-marque classic car sale. Both auctions will be held in the Launchpad building at Donington Park, with viewing from 9am each sale day. Viewing is free to access and entry to the auctions themselves will be by catalogue only. The sale lots will still be on show and the Silverstone Auctions team available to talk all things classic in the Launchpad on the Sunday of the Festival.
Harry Whale, Silverstone Auctions Sales Manager commented on the new partnership, “We are all very excited about this new relationship. The Donington Historic Festival is one of the top historic events in the country and one that is very well supported by the racing fraternity.”
Duncan Wiltshire, Managing Director of Donington Historic Festival organiser Historic Promotions, said: “We are thrilled that Silverstone Auctions are holding a sale at the event. As a world-class auction house and a tremendous supporter of Historic Racing it is highly fitting that they have chosen the Donington Historic Festival as the venue for this prestigious sale.”
Entries are now invited for both sales. The Silverstone Auctions team can be contacted on 01926 691141 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
