Packed Timetable Revealed for Donington Historic Festival

The provisional timetable for the 2020 Donington Historic Festival has been announced - and classic motorsport fans are in for a treat over the weekend of May 1st-3rd. A fantastically diverse race line-up spanning seven decades features everything from pre-War, pre-56 and pre-61 sportscars to Touring Cars from the 1950s to the late 1980s. Single-seater enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either, with four Formula Junior races and two races for the potent Formula Atlantics.

Donington Park won’t be still when the racing machines aren’t out on track, as lunchtime historic Formula One demonstrations and car club track parades will entertain spectators. Racegoers will be able to get close to the competition cars in the open-access paddock and to special displays, including one celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Cooper T56 Formula Junior car.

Dozens of car clubs will gather in the infield, while the Grand Prix Loop will be home to hundreds of Ford Mustangs, as the members of Simply Mustangs UK descend on Donington Park for the weekend – and 80 of them will take to the track on the Saturday lunchtime for what promises to be a hugely impressive parade.
