Matteo Ferrer-Aza (Ligier JS11/15) claimed a strong victory in the wet on Saturday to further extend his championship lead while after his recent win at Brands Hatch, while Steve Hartley gave his McLaren MP4/1 a second win on Sunday, fending off Mike Cantillon’s Williams FW07C to the end. Meanwhile, Michael Lyons came out with the McLaren M26 formerly campaigned by his father to corner a dominant double in the pre-78 class.
