Amelia Island Congratulates Roger Penske on Another Indy Win
Having only recently announced Roger Penske as Honoree of the 2020 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, our colleagues at the prestigious Florida event were quick to offer their congratulations to Team Penske as they claimed their 18th Indiianoplis 500 win last weekend:
“Congratulations to Roger Penske, Simon Pagenaud, and Team Penske for their record-setting 18th Indianapolis 500 victory.
“Team Penske swept Indy’s “Month of May” last Sunday when Simon Pagenaud won the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 leading 116 of 200 laps. On May 11th Team Penske and Pagenaud won the Indy Grand Prix. On May 19th Pagenaud earned Team Penske’s 18th Indianapolis 500 pole position. The Penske mantra, Effort = Results, could not have been more evident.”
The 25th annual Amelia will be held on March 5-8, 2020, honoring Roger Penske and featuring a special display twenty five of his personal race cars and Team Penske’s famous Indy, NASCAR and Sports Cars.
