Dutch Porsche racer Cees Siewertsen drove 911 Carrera RSRs to numerous victories on home soil at Zandvoort, plus occasional successes in Zolder and Hockenheim, in 1974-’75 with technical support from Kremer Racing in Cologne. The yellow and mauve livery was unusual, thus nobody missed the message of sponsor Wally’s Jeans and rivals saw the car in their mirrors. I knew nothing of Siewertsen’s ’74 domestic programme until I researched the provenance of this team sticker, acquired from Jonathan Ranger Motor Racing Memorabilia at RaceRetro 2020, and found a photo on the internet, showing a larger version adorning his team transporter!
