HistoricRacingNews.com is coming to America! Over the last few years HistoricRacingNews.Com has been hugely successful and has become one of Europe’s leading specialists in everything to do with historic motorsport. Now we are able to cover the scene in the United States and Canada with the arrival of Jim Roller as our Head of US Operations. Jim will be covering all aspects of HRN’s business from a new base in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We will celebrate this exciting expansion this month when HRN.com’s Paul Tarsey will join the commentary team at Historic Sportscar Racing’s Classic 24 at Daytona where Jim Roller will join in the fun. Both of them will then move on to Sebring from October 30th to November 3rd for the Sebring Classic 12 Hour ‘Pistons and Props’ spectacular.
“I am really excited to be joining Paul Tarsey and his business partner Paul Jurd in such an exciting time in the growth of HistoricRacingNews.Com” said the Emmy award winning broadcasting stalwart. “I have been involved in motorsport one way and another for nearly forty years and the fantastic growth in vintage racing has always fascinated me. I see this opportunity to join the team as a great opportunity to bring HRN’s slightly offbeat style to a wider US audience”.
Paul Jurd will continue in his key role which now becomes Head of European Operations, and he will continue to manage central site contact and editorial functions, confirming us as leaders in our field.
