This weekend's Spa Six hours has attracted its usual large and varied entry, with the winning Ford GT40 from last year proudly bearing the number one on its flanks for this Saturday's race. As ever the event has attacted some of the best historic racers from Europe and beyond, and this is one race where crews and cars have travelled to Belgium to race hard and chase overall or class victory in the prestigious endurance classic.
The Ford GT40s have dominated in recent years with the previously successful Jaguars now chasing a top five finish, but over six hours a lot of variables can come into play and when the flag drops at 15.55 local time Saturday the only thing that is a certainity is that the racing at the front of the field will be intense.
