Where would we like to be this weekend? It has to be on the Red Kite Stages on Sunday for the opening round of the 2017 Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship.
Based in Llandovery, the event has 45-miles of stages over the Sennybridge military training area, which provides great action but also means spectators do have to follow some basic rules to avoid wandering too far into the ranges - so if you are thinking of going please check out the sector information on the event web-site here, and with the scrutiny that rallying is under at the moment please follow the guidelines to keep yourselves, competitors, and the sport safe:
The rally will be based in Llandovery with Rally HQ at the Castle Hotel and the central service area at the adjoining Llandovery Mart. The first car will start at 8.30am on Sunday and return to the finish at 2.00pm.
We previewed the event earlier in the week - http://bit.ly/2m217i0 - so get ready for host of sideways Escorts, and if you do go, please tell us what you thought of it!
